Tickets are now on sale for Let It Be, the Broadway musical featuring more than 20 of The Beatles’ greatest hits. The Fab Four tuner will hit Broadway this summer, starting previews July 16 at the St. James Theatre, with an opening night slated for July 24. The casting and creative team for Let It Be will be announced at a later date.
Born as a West End production to celebrate the iconic band’s 50th anniversary, Let It Be uses video footage to tell the story of the band’s rise from their humble beginnings in Liverpool’s Cavern Club, through the height of Beatlemania, to their later studio masterpieces. The production is packed with classic Beatles’ tunes including "I Wanna Hold Your Hand," "A Hard Day’s Night," "Day Tripper," "Strawberry Fields Forever," "When I’m 64," "Hello Goodbye," "Get Back" and early hits like "Twist and Shout" and "She Loves You."
The London production of Let It Be continues its run the Savoy Theatre.
